Swift Campout: High Bridge -> Tinicum

We've tried to get an overnighter going for a little while, but I think we finally got it together this time.

We will meet at noon at Scout's Coffee Bar and Mercantile in High Bridge and take off on a leisurely 20 mile ride to Tinicum Park.  At about the halfway point we will stop at Beneduce Vinyards and optionally enjoy some wine before continuing on to Tinicum Park, just off the D&L towpath in Eriwnna, PA.

This is an excellent trip for any first time bikepackers.  The elevation is mild, only about 1000 ft each way, and Tinicum Park is a 2 mile ride from Frenchtown, NJ that has all the supplies you will need.  Bring some ride snacks, a tent and a sleeping bag and you can get everything else in Frenchtown.  Tinicum has running water and trash faciliites, but no showers.

We will depart by 10am on Sunday morning.

There is plenty of room available at the group campsite, so I added a Camp Only option if you have family that wants to drive and meet there or you just want to hang.  The fee for this event is the fee per camper over the age of 2 so you have to register each person individually.  The group ride can only handle about 20 people, you can still ride to Tinicum but we ask that you do on your own to avoid putting stress on the ride leaders.

While the ride is no drop it is also not supported.  Please make sure you have a bail plan in case of mechanical or injury.  You are responsible for your own equipment, hydration and nutrtion while on the trip.
