Swift Campout - Tinicum

We reserved a group campsite at Tinicum park to celebrate the Summer Solstice Swift Campout Style.  Three options to join in:  Group Ride from High Bridge, NJ or from Action Wheels.

Tinicum is an excellent place to bike pack to since it is close to Frenchtown, NJ you can purchase all your supplies a mile from the campsite so even if you don't have a svelte bike packing setup, you can probably do this with just a backpack and a sleeping bag tied to your handlebars.  Tinicum has bathrooms and running water in the park plus fire pits (some have grills some don't).  Firewood can be purchased in town.  There is trash cans at the campsite as well.

Please be mindful that there are other campsites across from the group sites, so please be respectful and you agree to follow all the campground rules.

We are charging a nominal fee to cover the cost per person to reserve the campground plus an extra two dollars to cover the payment processing fees (just so that we don't lose money).

Route Details

Group Ride from High Bridge:  Meet at Scout's Coffee Bar and Mercantile on Main St. High Bridge at 12 noon and head out on the 20 mile, 800 ft of elevation mixed terrain ride to Tinicum.  We will stop at Beneduce Vinyards for some chilled wine enroute.  40mm/1.5" or larger tires are recommended for the section of Capoolong Creek we ride through.  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42758367

Group Ride from Action Wheels:  The ride will leave from Action Wheels at 4pm sharp, final route is TBD but estimated 25 miles and 1500ft of eleveation

We may open up an option to meet at the campground and make your own route, but we want to give the people that will join the group rides a chance to reserve first.
